Born in the USA and recently transplanted to rural Brasil. An artist and a poet in my free time, I once worked as an activist and Spanish interpreter/translator. Of this I am sure: Life is beautiful for its savory as well as its sweet, and little is worth doing if you don´t live it passionately. To quote E.B. White, "I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world, and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day." We'll see where these Brazilian roads take me.
